Amazing stretch of weather ahead

WMGT-41NBC Macon, GA:  Winter has made its return back to the area with much cooler temperatures and a breeze that will make you shiver.  It is not as windy today, but certainly enough to make the wind chill factor relevant.    Temperatures made it back into the mid to upper 50’s for us across Middle Georgia.  There have been some clouds, but don’t expect anything to be falling out of them.

The quiet weather should remain with us until we get until early to mid next week.  Friday will be another cool day, but we start to warm a bit on Saturday.  Sunday through Tuesday will be warm, actually above normal again.  The changes start to come back Tuesday, but especially by Wednesday as we see another storm system rolling into the area.  That will give us some showers and thunderstorms.  It remains to be seen how stormy it will actually be.
