More Sunshine, but keeping 1 eye on the Tropics
Another very nice day today, as we had more sunshine with only some clouds in the afternoon. Another afternoon with temperatures back into the low 80’s. We will see about the same tonight, with more mostly clear skies and generally in the 60’s for the evening. There will be more clear skies by Wednesday morning and we should be down into the mid 50’s. Wednesday afternoon will feature more sunshine and clouds. Temperatures are starting to warm up as well. Mid 80’s to possibly upper 80’s by the end of the week and into the weekend. There could be a stray shower or storm on Saturday or Sunday and Monday, but nothing really jumping out at this point.
Tropical Update: Forecast models are still rather impressed with the disturbed area just East of Florida. Now, this looks to have a descent shot at developing, but won’t be truly tropical yet. Which is fine/normal for this time of the year. Either way, as of NOW**, the only thing that it looks to do for us is provide more dry air since we will be on the west side of the system. That is going to help our temperatures make a run at upper 80’s to near 90 by Friday. Stay tuned.
