Severe Weather Possible Saturday

There is a slight risk for Severe weather tomorrow for us across Middle Georgia, but really most of the Southeast. The chances are there, but there is still plenty of time and certainly a bunch of questions that I have. 1 big question is what time will this all push into the area. There is conflicting signs from the models. The models have some convection pushing into the area through the late morning time frame, but I just don’t see how that is going to be Severe. I think the threat is certainly greater as you head over North Georgia vs Middle Georgia. There also appears to be a 2nd potential for Severe weather, IMHO this will be the BEST chance **IF** we do see any severe weather at all, toward the afternoon and evening. There good moisture return, i.e. the higher dew points will not SURGE into the SE until sometime early tomorrow afternoon from the best I can tell at this point. This will inhibit the convection (storms) from being severe IMHO in the morning time. So, I am saying there is Severe weather potential, but the chances are pretty small. The BEST chance for Severe weather, and SPC agrees with me (see pictures) that the best chances for Severe Storms will be over North GA and further North from there. I think its possible, but I am not very impressed with the setup.. Sorry for the long post. More at 6 on 41nbc. -Chris
