Macon head-on collision kills one, injures another

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One is dead after two cars collided near Guy Paine Road and Tech Drive Thursday night.

Both drivers went to the hospital, where one eventually died.

Deputies withheld the deceased driver’s name and information because his or her family has not been identified.

57-year-old Josefa Sanchez, the other driver involved, is in stable condition at Navicent Health.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
