Thousands attend 2014 Warner Robins Christmas Parade

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More than 1,200 people participated in the Warner Robins Christmas Parade Saturday.

The sights and sounds included marching bands, junior military, floats, unique cars and dance troupes. With 127 entries, organizers say this is one of the largest Christmas Parades in middle Georgia.

One character made a special guest appearance.

“Ho, ho, ho!” says Santa Claus. “It’s great to be here in Warner Robins. This makes my 37th Christmas Parade, and we’ve been doing it here in Warner Robins for many years. We had more kids out here this year than we’ve ever had.”

The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce sponsors the parade. Organizers are already planning for next year.
