Bibb County Students head back to class

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students put their backpacks to good use today.

Officials said the first day back to school was a success. Deputy Superintendent, Erin Weaver, told us she’s been to multiple schools today to make sure everyone was having a great start to the new school year.

She says Bibb County is focusing on positive behavior in the public schools. They hope to make this the best year for the boys and girls of this community.

Weaver says she and a few observers will meet over the weekend to discuss any pressing problems, but as of now, she doesn’t see any major issues.
