Macon man shot while watching fight
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.
Witnesses told the sheriff’s office 25-year-old Kevin Eugene Mims of Macon was standing in a field near Cedar Avenue and Moseley Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. when he was shot in the abdomen. Witness reports say Mims was “watching a fight between some girls” when he was shot. As for who shot him, Mims wasn’t sure. He was taken to the hospital by a friend, where he is listed in stable condition.
