MGSC Women’s Basketball Beats Andrew College, 64-51

COCHRAN, Georgia (MGSC RELEASE) – The Knights women’s basketball team moved to 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference with a win over conference opponent Andrew College 64-51 on Wednesday night.

The Knights and Tigers battled back and forth for most of the first half while Middle Georgia was able to take a 3 point lead at the half with 28-25.

The Knights came out in the second half and extended their lead to as many as 10 early before finally closing it out with a 13 point win. The Knights were led by Jademone’ Jones (Savannah, GA) and Va’Queshia Hall (Macon, GA) who each scored 19 points while Jones had 14 rebounds and 2 steals, Hall had 9 rebounds, 1 block, and a steal. Jada Haynes (Savannah, GA) added 6 assists in the win.

The Knights next game is at Chattahoochee Tech in Smyrna, GA on Friday the 22nd at 5:30 before they take the Thanksgiving break off and return to action the first week of December.
