Hawkinsville Residents Celebrate Missing Teen’s Birthday, Light the Way Home for Her

HAWKINmadisonconnorSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Friday will mark two weeks since the last time anyone saw missing Hawkinsville teenager Madison Conner. Thursday was her 16th birthday.

Her family marked the occasion by placing ribbons and pictures of Madison on power poles throughout Hawkinsville Thursday. She was last seen on the night of February 22nd, when her family went to bed.

When they woke up, she was gone, and they haven’t heard from her since. Thursday, we spoke with Madison’s little sister, Mary Wesley. She wants her big sis to know she loves her more than anything in the world.

“Happy birthday Madison, we’re just ready for you to come home and I miss you really, really much,” Mary Wesley said.

Hawkinsville residents planned Thursday to turn on their porch lights for Madison from 7 to 9 to symbolically show her the way home.

If you have any information on Madison’s whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
