Bibb deputies identify 4-year-old in death investigation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 4-year-old girl who died following a “medical emergency” on Rocky Creek Road Saturday has been identified as Jayde Wooten, according to news releases from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Rocky Creek Road after a call to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center just before 2 p.m.

Deputies provided aid until firefighters and paramedics arrived. Wooten was taken to a local hospital, where medical staff pronounced her dead.

The sheriff’s office has not released a cause of death or any additional information. The investigation remains ongoing.
