MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Thursday should be the most pleasant day across Middle Georgia this work week as cloud cover is very limited and humidity reaches its valley for the week.

This Evening

A partly sunny afternoon will become a mostly clear night across Middle Georgia, and this time around near average if not below average conditions are expected for low temperatures. Most spots will valley in the low to mid 60s accompanied by light wind out of the east-northeast around 5 mph. Fog is unlikely but a couple areas near bodies of water could see some patchy spots.

Tomorrow

The sunniest day of the week is expected tomorrow with temperatures mainly peaking in the lower 90s. The wind will continue from the east-northeast at 5-10 mph. Some gusts could still reach upwards of 20 mph. With dew points in the upper 50s and lower 60s it should feel a good bit less sticky outside as well.

Overnight will be clear with the wind remaining light and variable but generally out of the south. Temperatures should drop into the mid 60s across most of the region, or right around the average for this time of year. Some patchy fog could be possible early Friday morning during the sunrise.

Friday and Beyond

Cloud cover is anticipated to fill in some Friday afternoon and could bring a few showers or perhaps a storm over the latter parts of the day. Scattered showers and storms look possible over the weekend, especially on Saturday. Temperatures will push back into the mid 90s around the region Friday and Saturday before more clouds lead to slightly cooler temps early next week. Those cooler conditions will likely see increased rain odds as well.
