15-year-old boy in critical condition after Napier Avenue shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after a shooting Wednesday evening on Napier Avenue.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home in the 2700 block of Napier Avenue just before 6 p.m. after the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center received a report of someone being shot.
Deputies found the teenager with a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment.
The sheriff’s office says no one else was injured.
Investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting. The sheriff’s office did not release information about a suspect or any arrests.
