20-year-old taken to hospital after early-morning Macon shooting
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired around 5:37 a.m. and later learned the man had been driven to a medical facility.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot early Sunday on Houston Avenue, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said in a Sunday night news release that the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center received a report of shots fired in the 4200 block of Houston Avenue near Burke Street around 5:37 a.m.
Deputies later learned that someone had taken the man, who had a gunshot wound, to a medical facility in a personal vehicle.
The sheriff’s office says its Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the shooting.
