Man found injured in Warner Robins, assault under investigation

According to police, the man had a head injury that does not appear to be from a gunshot.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police in Warner Robins are investigating an aggravated assault after a man was found injured Monday night.

In response to a 41NBC inquiry, Warner Robins Police said officers responded to a location on Ignico Drive in reference to an aggravated assault.

Police say they found a 40-year-old man with an injury to the back of his head and that the injury does not appear to be from a gunshot wound. They did not disclose additional details, including an update the man’s condition.

The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case.
