Deputies say the suspect was arrested after a short foot chase following the reported theft of a Can-Am ATV.

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Pulaski County man has been arrested in connection with a stolen ATV case, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a social media post on Thursday, deputies arrested 33-year-old Joe Thompson in the 14 Lane Road area on charges of theft by receiving stolen property and possession of drug-related objects.
They say the arrest stems from the reported theft of a Can-Am ATV from a home on Lower River Road the previous day.
Deputies took Thompson into custody after a short foot chase. He is currently being held at the Pulaski County Jail.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says multiple agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Division, which provided aerial support during the search for the stolen ATV.
