Emmylou Harris to perform at Piedmont Grand Opera House in Macon

The Grammy-winning artist will take the stage March 21 in downtown Macon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Grammy-winning artist Emmylou Harris will perform at the Piedmont Grand Opera House in Macon on Saturday, March 21, according to a news release.

Graystone Promotions said it will present An Evening with Emmylou Harris at 7:30 p.m. during cherry blossom season at the downtown venue.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 29, at 10 a.m. and range from $99.50 to $175, plus taxes and fees, according to the release. Tickets will be available at thegrandmacon.com and through The Grand’s social media pages.

Emmylou Harris is a 14-time Grammy Award winner and a recipient of the Billboard Century Award, according to the release. Harris has recorded more than 25 albums over a career spanning four decades and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. She also received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, the release states.

She has collaborated with a wide range of artists throughout her career, including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Neil Young and Linda Ronstadt.
