Fatal crash shuts down South Houston Lake Road in Warner Robins

Drivers in Houston County are being asked to avoid part of South Houston Lake Road following a deadly traffic crash.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Drivers in Houston County are being asked to avoid part of South Houston Lake Road following a deadly traffic crash.

The southbound lanes of South Houston Lake Road, just south of Feagin Mill Road in Warner Robins, are currently closed.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is investigating a fatal collision at the intersection of South Houston Lake Road and Lochlyn Place.

Officials say the roadway closure will remain in effect until further notice as the investigation continues.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.
