Extremely warm conditions likely Christmas Eve

This Evening
It’s been a pretty warm day for Middle Georgia as temperatures have again exceeded expectations for highs. Almost everywhere around the region got to or over 70 this afternoon. It will be a mild night under clear skies as the wind will generally flow from the west-southwest around 5 mph. Expect lows to be in the upper 40s and lower 50s ahead of Christmas Eve.
Tomorrow
Another very warm day is likely as temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 70s. A couple of record highs cannot be ruled out. Skies will be partly sunny as a few cirrus and cumulus clouds are likely overhead. The wind will be light from the northwest around 3-10 mph.
Overnight a few clouds will hang around as things stay very warm for this time of year. Rolling into Christmas temperatures will only drop into the low to mid 50s. The wind will be light from the west-northwest around 5 mph.
Christmas and Beyond
More record highs will be possible on Christmas as some spots may climb into the lower 80s. The wind will be light from the west around 5-10 mph as skies will be mostly sunny.
Conditions will remain warm into the weekend with the next blast of cold air expected to roll in next Monday. Rain odds will remain low with the only odds being a couple of showers over the coming weekend.
