Taylor County deputies searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect

Deputies say he was last seen near Highway 208 wearing a red jacket and camouflage beanie.

TAYLOR COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted on multiple charges and is warning the public to stay away from him.

In a Facebook post Tuesday night, deputies said Donnie Wainwright is wanted on four counts of entering autos, one count of burglary and five counts of theft by taking.

The sheriff’s office said Wainwright is considered armed and dangerous and urged residents not to approach him. Anyone who sees him should call 911.

Deputies said his last known location was near Highway 208 and Wainwright Road. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and a camouflage beanie.
