It’s been a sunny and pleasant day around Middle Georgia and things will stay clear through tonight. This is good for anyone wishing to see the Full Beaver Moon. This moon is expected to be the largest Full Moon of the year and will be a SuperMoon. Low temperatures will be in the lower 40s for most of the region accompanied by light winds from the southeast. Some patchy fog could be possible ahead of sunrise tomorrow.

Hump day will see temperatures warm even more as highs creep above average for the first time in more than a week. Mid to upper 70s are likely around the region for peak temperatures. The wind will flow from the southwest at around 5 mph. A few cirrus clouds are likely overhead but overall conditions will be sunny.

Thursday and Beyond

Temperatures will continue to climb through the work week, likely peaking on Friday ahead of a cold front that could bring storms overnight Friday and into Saturday. Given that temperatures by that point will likely be in the upper 70s/lower 80s and humidity will be climbing there is a non-zero chance that the passage of the cold front could bring some strong/severe storms. More will become clear about these possibilities as the week goes on.
