Pulaski County deputies searching for man wanted on aggravated assault charge

Deputies say David Walker should be considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE (8/25/25): The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says David Walker is wanted in connection to a shooting in Hawkinsville. Investigators say Walker faces two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The GBI also arrested 21-year-old Nickelas Adams of Warner Robins at the scene and charged him with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man charged with aggravated assault.

According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, deputies are searching for 20-year-old David Walker. He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The release said he should be considered armed and dangerous. The sheriff’s office did not provide additional details about the incident that led to the charge.

The sheriff’s office urges anyone with information to call Pulaski County E-911 at 911 or 478-783-1212. All information will be handled confidentially, according to the release.
