Nine Middle Georgia contestants to compete in Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen pageants
Contestants from Macon and Warner Robins will take the stage in Columbus for Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen competitions the week of June 9.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Nine young women from Macon and Warner Robins are set to represent our area at the upcoming Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen competitions in Columbus the week of June 9-14, according to a news release from the Miss Macon Organization.
The local titleholders were featured Thursday at a meet-and-greet event at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
The contestants include:
- Miss Macon Autumn Knight
- Miss Macon’s Teen Hannah Shaw
- Miss Central Georgia Brooke Marshall
- Miss Central Georgia’s Teen Mary Margaret Cooper
- Miss Warner Robins Jillian Higgins
- Miss Warner Robins’ Teen Kameron Griffith,
- Miss Houston County’s Teen Londyn Rodgers
- Miss International City Elise Higgins
- Miss International City’s Teen Madison Walker
According to the release, two sisters are among the competitors.
April Montgomery, executive director of the Miss Macon Scholarship Organization, said the contestants have spent the past year preparing and promoting their community service platforms.
The Miss Macon Scholarship Organization, founded in 1921, is a not-for-profit preliminary to the Miss America Organization and promotes personal and professional achievement for young women. The national program provides more than $40 million in scholarships annually and supports community initiatives including the American Heart Association and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
