One teenager was shot and two others were injured early Saturday after a gunfire at a downtown Macon gathering.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One teenager was shot and two others were injured early Saturday after a gunfire at a downtown Macon gathering.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release sent Saturday night, deputies responded to a parking lot on Mulberry Street just after 1 a.m. after hearing gunshots in the area.
Witnesses told deputies there had been a “large gathering of teenagers,” and dispatch told deputies a 17-year-old boy and two female victims were taken by personal vehicle to Atirum Health Navicent.
The boy was shot, and a 17-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman were evaluated for “injuries sustained during the incident.”
All three were treated and released.
