WRALL Goes Down to Penn. 7-5
The Warner Robins Little League team dropped a heartbreaker in the Little League World Series. WRALL lost to Keystone, Penn. 7-5.
Once again the Warner Robins boys faced an elimination game. Tuesday night they took on the home team of Keystone, Pennsylvania. And WRALL had to deal with a raucous in-state crowd.
Warner Robins got off to a great start by putting three runs on the board in the first inning. Josh Goodman drove in two runs off with a triple and then Jordan Hampton knocked in Goodman with an RBI single.
Pennsylvania would respond by scoring six runs off of five hits.
WR’s Jake Fromm blasted a 2-R home run in the 4th that cut the Pennsylvania lead to 7-5
In the top of the 6th, Warner Robins was still down two runs, with 2 men on and 2 outs when Pennsylvania’s Taylor McCloskey gets Josh Goodman to ground back to him to end the game.
The final score: 7-5, Pennsylvania moves on.
