Some Bibb County students could return to classrooms this semester

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Some Bibb County Schools students could return to the classroom before the conclusion of the fall semester.

School board members authorized Superintendent Dr. Curtis Jones to make the recommendation during their meeting Thursday, according to the district’s “Board Brief.”

Dr. Jones will now meet with senior cabinet members, principals and other directors to discuss and determine the procedure and details.

An announcement with more information will be made later.

The current semester ends January 15, according to the district’s academic calendar, which was approved in July.
