MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Macon Water Authority (MWA) announced an emergency water main repair at the intersection of Gray Highway and Clinton Road Friday afternoon. The repair is resulting in water outages and low pressure in affected areas.
According to a 4:48 p.m. Facebook post by MWA, the repair is estimated to take 6 to 8 hours to complete.
The water outage impacts residents and businesses from 770 Gray Highway to Clinton Road, Cowan Street to Lexington Street, Clinton Road to Hall Street and Clinton Road to Woolfolk Street.
In its post, MWA thanked customers for patience and understanding.
