Cloud cover returns to end the week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia will see added cloud cover Friday and over the weekend.
The Rest of the Evening
A handful of clouds are expected to move into Middle Georgia tonight, however the bulk of them likely will not arrive until sunrise tomorrow. It will be a muggy night with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s and dew points in the mid to upper 50s. A small shower or two will be possible ahead of sunrise tomorrow as well. Ambient wind will come from the east-southeast at around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
Partly cloudy skies will begin Friday before mostly cloudy conditions stay the rest of the day and into the night. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s with a small chance for a couple of isolated showers in the afternoon and evening. Winds will mainly come from the east-southeast at about 6-13 mph, gusting upwards of 20 mph.
Overnight skies will basically be overcast with lows dropping largely into the lower 60s. A spotty shower or two will be possible at any point through the overnight hours. Winds will continue from the east-southeast at about 7-15 mph.
This Weekend and Beyond
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a couple of shower chances as highs reach the lower 80s. It will be warmer Sunday as more sun returns to the Peach State. Temperatures will soar next week as highs jump into the upper 80s by midweek.
