UPDATE: Arrest made in Fair Street death investigation

A 28-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the death last month of 29-year-old Rashad Shaquille Reddick.

UPDATE (5/15/24): A 28-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the death last month of 29-year-old Rashad Shaquille Reddick.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says investigators served an arrest warrant on Kahlid Harper at a home in the 5100 block of Nesbit Drive following an investigation.

He’s being held at the Bibb County Jail and does not have bond.

 

ORIGINAL STORY (4/22/24):

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that took place on the 3500 block of Fair Street on April 19.

Deputies responded to a shots fired call at 11:48 p.m.

Deputies found 29-year-old Rashad Shaquille Reddick suffering from gunshot wounds. Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced Reddick dead on the scene.

The shooting is currently under investigation.
