12 people arrested for involvement in illegal gambling at tax service business

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 12 people they say took part in illegal gambling at a tax preparation business in Macon.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a gambling search warrant at Tax Bar Tax Service at 6440 Houston Road on Thursday, February 20th. Investigators say they found cash, cellphones, a large amount of poker chips and a poker table.

Below is a list of the 12 people arrested:

  • 39-year-old   Latricia Hunter , charged with Commercial Gambling and probation violation, her bond is set at $3,500, she has not posted bond.
  • 53-year-old    Anthony Little , charged with Commercial Gambling his bond was set at $2,950, he has posted bond
  • 30-year-old    Ardontae Taylor , charged with Commercial Gambling his bond was set at $2,950, he has posted bond
  • 30-year-old      Kenneth Jackson,  charged with Commercial Gambling his bond was set at $2,950, he  has posted bond
  • 40-year-old      Dominique Morris  ,charged with Commercial Gambling his bond was set at $2,950, he has posted bond
  • 29-year-old      Sammie Cosby III , charged with Commercial Gambling his bond was set at $2,950, he has posted bond
  • 36-year-old       Michael Smart , charged with Commercial Gambling  his bond was set at $2,950, he has posted bond
  • 46-year-old      Billy Meyaski Poole , charged with Commercial Gambling and  tampering with evidence.  Poole  flushed powder cocaine down the toilet. His bond was set at $5,900 he has posted bond.
  • 38-year-old       Hector Riley , charged with possession of Schedule II (Cocaine) w/ intent , Commercial gambling and  possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Riley  was found with powder and crack cocaine inside his vehicle parked outside the  Suite . Riley had in his possession  a silver in color Smith & Wesson  Model 645 semi-automatic handgun  while participating in illegal gambling. At this Riley has no bond.
  • 30-year-old     Julius Adams  , charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a  crime and commercial  gambling, his bond was set at $8,650 he  has posted bond.  Adams was found in possession of  a black in color Glock  g26 semi-automatic handgun while illegal gambling
  • 32-year-old      Jason Campbell , charged  with possession of  marijuana less than an ounce and commercial gambling.  His bond was  set at $4,250 he has posted bond
  • 39-year-old      Jamel Smith had two outstanding  BSCO warrants for theft by deception and theft by receiving. The warrants were served and Smith was transported to the Bibb County Jail. His bond was set at $4,250 he has posted bond.
