Chase Elliott Finishes Fifth In Kyle Busch’s Rowdy’s Revenge 251
BERLIN, MI – Chase Elliott continued his streak of strong runs by charging through the field from the 18th starting position to finish fifth in the rain-delayed second annual Rowdy’s Revenge 251 at Berlin Raceway Wednesday night.
Kyle “Rowdy” Busch won for the second straight year. Elliott finished second last year behind Busch, but this year had to dodge several wrecks and battle against some of the best short trackers in America while coming up from his deep starting position.
“I thought we had a good run, but weren’t where we needed to be,” Elliott said.
The young son of 1988 Cup Champion Bill Elliott now heads to the Gulf Coast, where he’ll race at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola on Friday, June 24 and at Mobile International Raceway on Saturday, June 25.
