David Ragan Finishes 13th At Kansas

KANSAS CITY, KS – After coming off a career-best finish of second at Chalotte last weekend, Unadilla’s David Ragan was hoping for more at Kansas Speedway.

He spent most of the race in the top ten, but a mishap on a pit stop cost the team valuable track position and long green flag runs didn’t allow Ragan much opportunity to make up spots.

On his final green-flag pit stop, Ragan got two tires and fuel, while  a couple cars out front gambled on fuel mileage and were able to make it to the end.  Ragan crossed the finish line 13th while Brad Keselowski took home the win.

“We had a small mistake on pit road and some guys gambled and got lucky,” said Ragan.  “Sometimes it pays to be lucky. We had a top seven or eight car and I am proud of our UPS team. I can feel a win coming any week. We just got beat by circumstance today. We will work hard and go get them next week.”
