UPDATE: Jones County deputies say Tommy Ledford is now in custody.

“Mr. Ledford contacted our deputies and requested a ride to our gated community,” a sheriff’s office Facebook post read. “He has turned himself in without further incident.”

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man deputies say ran from them on Friday.

“Please be on the lookout for Tommy Ledford,” a sheriff’s office Facebook post read. “Ledford just fled from deputies on foot from a residence on Teresa Circle in the Mattie Wells Area. Ledford is wearing a black hoodie. He is wanted for violation of probation.”
