Enjoy a Glass of Lemonade with the Varnadoe Family

The story of one Middle Georgia family touched the lives of so many of you. I’m sure you remember the three young girls who were raising money for the critically ill 2-year-old, Logan Varnadoe, last month by having a lemonade stand, when they got robbed.

Logan suffers from severe health problems including some blindness and deafness. He has had multiple gastrointestinal surgeries. The time and cost to take care of Logan has been a major undertaking for the family.

Many of you stepped in and gave money to the Varnadoe family so they could take care of their little boy. Now, Logan’s parents want to say thank you. April Varnadoe, Logan’s mom, tells us her family was overwhelmed with excitement by the community’s response. They received donations from local businesses and individuals, along with encouraging words. April says she thought her family was alone, until last month when Middle Georgia showed their love after $50 was stolen from her niece while she was trying to raise money for Logan.

Saturday, May 7, you’re invited to meet Logan and enjoy a nice cold glass of…what else, lemonade! The “Thank You Middle Georgia” event is from 12pm-4pm at the Galleria Mall parking lot in Warner Robins.
