Adam Scott Looks to Defend Texas Open Title
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Adam Scott may be having a career reawakening headed into this weekend’s Texas Open.
The 30-year-old Australian won the event last year when it was played for the first time at the TPC San Antonio Oaks Course. Since then, he has jumped from 30th to 17th in the latest world rankings and is coming off a strong performance at the Masters.
He wound up with a final-round 67 at Augusta and a birdie at 16 that wasn’t enough to hold off Charl Schwartzel’s four-for-four birdie finish for the win.
The first round begins Thursday.
