Rain chances stick around this week
Another warm day is on the way Tuesday as rain chances mostly hold off until the afternoon and evening.
Highs will be warming into the 80’s by the afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.
Rain returns to the area during the evening, with the potential for storms after midnight.
We will see several waves of rain and storms through Wednesday with heavy rain as the main threat.
Not only will we see rain on Wednesday, but high pressure to the north will allow a wedge front to set up.
The wedge front will keep our temperatures in the 60’s through the day on Wednesday and drop our lows to the 40’s overnight.
Cool air will continue to hang around Middle Georgia through Thursday thanks to the wedge front, but rain will finally move out by Thursday night/early Friday.
The end of the week will bring us a warm up as well as a return of dry weather.
Highs over the weekend will warm up to the 70’s and 80’s with full sunshine and dry conditions.
