MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia 811 is a non-profit dedicated to preventing damage to the state’s underground utilities and promoting public safety.

Spring is here and Georgia 811 wants to make sure Georgians are doing things safely when working on projects in their yards.

Georgia 811 Spokesperson, Cliff Meidl, joined 41NBC News at Daybreak to talk about best practices for spring.
