UPDATE: Bibb deputies identify woman killed in apparent hit-and-run
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says a 23-year-old woman is dead after what appears to be a hit-and-run on Rocky Creek Road.

UPDATE: Bibb County deputies identified the woman found dead Thursday morning as 23-year-old Ronni Nykole Abbott.
No further information has been released.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a 23-year-old woman is dead after what appears to be a hit-and-run on Rocky Creek Road.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, deputies responded to the 2200 block of Rocky Creek Road “in reference to a follow up missing persons case” just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday and found the woman, who has not been identified. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Luann Stone.
Deputies have not released additional details. The case remains under investigation.
