Wrightsville post office closes

WRIGHTSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Wrightsville Post Office building, located at 8648 S Marcus St., is closed due to the U.S. Postal Service placing it on a temporary suspension.

There will be a mobile unit near the post office where customers can still buy stamps and mailing packages. P.O. Box customers can pick up their mail there too.Hours of operation are Monday-Wednesday, Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM – 1 PM and Saturday 9 AM – 12 PM. The mobile unit will close on Sunday.

Delivery operations will be relocated to the Sandersville Post Office at 205 W Church St. If thwere are any questions or concerns, you can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to www.usps.com.
