Woman Found Dead in Macon Motel

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon police is investigating after a woman was found dead Monday inside a room at a downtown Macon motel.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, the victim is 54-year-old Youlanda Evans. Her body was found at the Riverview Motel on Broadway around noon Monday.

Jones has not released the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
