WMGT Parent Company And DIRECTV Reach Agreement

WMGT general manager Derek Brown, announced today that an agreement has been reached with DIRECTV regarding retransmission of 41 NBC programming.

The news release stated, “Morris Network, which owns and operates six television network affiliated television stations, and DIRECTV, which provides satellite tv service that retransmits the signal of each of the Morris Network stations, are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of negotiations for renewal of their existing retransmission consent agreement.”

The agreement means DIRECTV customers in Middle Georgia will continue to recieve 41 NBC programming.
