What’s Right With Our Schools: Sandra Deal visits Taylor Elementary

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – First Lady of Georgia, Sandra Deal, visit Taylor Elementary School during Read Across America Month to teach students the importance of hard work and will power.

More than 85 students in the 1st grade listen as Deal read Coy Bowles’ Will Power: Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way.

The book talks about a young boy who finds his gift at a young age, and stops at nothing to maximize his potential.

“I want them to realize that no matter what their goals, you have to work hard to reach them,” says Deal.
