Wesleyan College launches $61M ‘She Will’ campaign to empower women
Wesleyan’s “She Will” campaign will fund scholarships, student programs, and campus upgrades to help empower the next generation of women leaders.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Wesleyan College has launched its ambitious “She Will” campaign, with the goal of raising $61 million to expand women’s education, leadership development, resources and spaces for students.
Drew Davidson, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Wesleyan, says the campaign will support scholarships, campus renovations and student programs.
“It’s going to go towards a variety of things like scholarships for our students, re-doing our resident halls, programming for students as well, supporting our facility—all different things that are going to help our students, and make their day to day better,” Davidson said.
She says the campaign will continue to empower young women.
“It’s about students,” she said. “It’s about the school. It’s really saying, ‘What will she do in the future?’ She will lead, she will empower, she will grow. And it’s really about putting out that possibility that is out there, and that’s what we’re really excited about.”
Davidson explained how the campaign honors both Wesleyan’s history and its future.
“So, having the ‘She Will’ campaign—this really looks at what we’ve done in the past and what we were founded off of, which is bringing education to women,” she said. “I think now more than ever our message still resonates with people, and we want to make sure young women are poised to lead well into the future. That is what this campaign is all about.”
Tate Miller, a psychology major at Wesleyan, says the impact goes well beyond the classroom.
“We’re getting the empowerment we need for leadership, for future internship opportunities, and for life on campus—for our comfortability and for our ability to perform in sports, and just all the other fun, engaging stuff that happens outside just the classroom,” Miller said.
