Warner Robins WWII veteran celebrates 93rd birthday
KATHLEEN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Warner Robins World War Two veteran celebrated his 93rd birthday Sunday.
Keath Morgan’s party kicked off with more than 100 bikers from the Rolling Thunder GA-3 and a police escort driving around the neighborhood.
Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms attended the event along with nine other WWII veterans.
Morgan told 41NBC he had no idea his daughter was planning such a big party.
“I didn’t think I’d be worth all that. My daughter does all this for me. That was something. I been all over the world, but I didn’t expect this,” said Morgan.
All WWII veterans wore a yellow ribbon on their shirts.
