WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – With temperatures dropping, the Warner Robins warming shelter is encouraging all locals who need warm shelter to come and receive service.

The shelter at No Limit Baptist Church, located at 1352 Radio Loop, is open from 5 p.m. until 8 a.m. the following morning. Depending on temperature changes, they could remain open until 12 p.m. the following day

Homeless residents can receive shelter, food, showers and hygiene products. The warming shelter also will be running a bus that starts at 6 p.m. to pick up homeless locals.

With the arctic freeze on the way, the Director of Homeless Outreach Mary Sanders says they will be doing all they can to keep the homeless safe and warm during this freezing winter season.

We would get more sleeping bags and things to cater to them, keep them warm on the inside, and we’ll take care of them with what we have here,” Sanders said. “But we also can always use clothing and personal things like hygiene things like that to supply with what they need.”

Stay up-to-date on the shelter via the City of Warner Robins Facebook page
