Warner Robins office manager accused of taking $1.4 million from employer
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Warner Robins woman accused of taking more than a million dollars from her job was denied bond Thursday morning.
Houston County Sheriff Capt. Jon Holland says 52-year-old Maria Elizabeth Trenam funneled $1.4 million into various banking accounts. Trenam is charged with one count of Fudiciary Theft.

Trenam worked as the office manager for Surgical Associates office located at 1701 Watson Blvd.
Houston County Sheriff Cullen Talton has called in the FBI to help with the investigation. The ATF agents and sheriff investigators are accusing Trenam of using several bank accounts to steal from the medical practice.
Holland declined to comment on where the accounts are located.
The sheriff’s CID captain says Trenam was arrested on similar charges “years ago” but they were misdemeanor charges and were dropped.
Trenam remains in custody at the Houston County Detention Center.
