Two injured after shots fired into vehicle at Warner Robins McDonald’s

Police say the shooting happened Sunday evening at a McDonald’s on Watson Boulevard.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were injured after shots were fired into a vehicle at a McDonald’s drive-through in Warner Robins Sunday night.

According to a Warner Robins Police Department news release, officers responded to reports of shots fired around 6:03 p.m. at the McDonald’s located at 1869 Watson Boulevard.

Police say the victims, a 40-year-old woman and 38-year-old man, were sitting in their vehicle in the drive-through line when an unknown man walked through the parking lot and fired multiple shots into the vehicle.

Both victims suffered minor injuries caused by shattered glass. They were treated at the scene.

The suspect ran and has not been identified.
