Warner Robins Mayoral Candidates Square Off in Forum

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Election day is Warner Robins is less than a month a way, and Wednesday mayoral candidates squared off to talk about big issues in the city.

A local chapter of the national active and retired federal employees association hosted Wednesday’s forum.

Five of the six candidates answered questions about public safety, harmony in the city, and what they want to bring to Warner Robins in 2014.

“I think that they certainly want to know about the law enforcement for our city and controlling crime in our city, as well as the growth of our city,” moderator Bill Edwards said.

Mayoral candidate Chuck Chalk was the only one who didn’t attend the forum. Chalk tells us his son was heading off for deployment, and he wanted to be with him.

Elections in Warner Robins are on November 5th.
