WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgians have the opportunity to meet Warner Robins High School basketball star Camryn Perkins at Sea Shells Seafood Restaurant’s event, “The Big C5 Bash,” on Saturday, December 30 from 12 to 3 p.m.

Perkins, a senior at Warner Robins High School who sports a 3.9 GPA, is promoting his recently signed Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals: one with Sea Shells Seafood and another with Mr. Smoothie Juice Bar.

The partnerships were facilitated by The LIFE League Consulting Group, which is dedicated to the development of youth through sports, providing educational programs alongside amateur athletic opportunities.

Jeff Tarver, the CEO of Life League Consulting Group, says the partnerships pave the way for more collaborations in the future.

The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) passed a bylaw in October enabling high school athletes to profit from their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), but it does come with certain limitations. Athletes are not allowed to use their school’s name, logos, uniforms or any other intellectual property in their NIL activities, and they can’t use school facilities for functions. Additionally, no “pay for play” is allowed, collectives are forbidden and NIL agreements are not to be used for recruiting to other schools.

Saturday’s event at Sea Shells, located at 117 Suite 1, Russell Parkway in Warner Robins, will showcase the C5 Meal: 5 chicken tenders, 5 shrimp, 5 chicken wings, fries and a drink for $13.99.

Perkins says the meal includes some of his favorite foods.

“It’s also very affordable so that everyone can enjoy,” he said in a direct message exchange on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday. “It’s a great thing knowing people can get full while eating for a great price and great food.”

Sea Shells co-owner Marcus Hancock says the partnership aligns with the restaurant’s mission.

“We recognize the positive impact these young athletes have in our community,” he said in a news release.

In addition to the C5 Meal, Perkins’ partnership with Mr. Smoothie Juice Bar features the Cam Quencher, a 32-ounce smoothie priced at $10.50.
