WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning left one person dead and another injured, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.

It happened just after 2 a.m. at 502 S. Pleasant Hill Rd.

According to a WRPD news release, responding officers found a 2005 Nissan Titan overturned and resting on its driver’s side in a wooded area north of the Warner Robins Little Theatre.

35-year-old Cristina Rivera was found a short distance from the vehicle with leg injuries. Rivera was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.

A passenger, 37-year-old Omri Troy, was found inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say preliminary findings indicate Rivera was driving the Nissan Titan north on S. Pleasant Hill Rd. when the vehicle crossed the center line, left the pavement on the east side of the road, struck a utility pole, overturned and came to rest in a tree line after crossing a parking lot.
