Warner Robins American Little League walks it off in 7-6 thriller over South Carolina

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In a game these girls will never forget, the Warner Robins American Little League softball team plated two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to complete a thrilling 7-6 comeback win over South Carolina on Monday afternoon in the Southeast Regional.

“That’s by the far the best game I’ve ever been a part of,” Head Coach Brandon Sisa said. “It was back and forth, and for the girls to be able to stay in it and do what they had to do, every single inning to prolong the game, prolong the game and finally get the job done, I couldn’t be prouder of them.”

Despite being down to their final out multiple times on Monday, the girls from Warner Robins continued to claw back, and now they’re just two wins away from punching their ticket to the Little League World Series. Georgia will try to keep its season alive on Tuesday against North Carolina at 2 p.m.
